There
several approaches how to lose weight and one of them is to be able to quantify your weight loss needs. This will lead you to the right track in losing weight and some of the useful weight loss tools are the ff:

utritional calculator. A nutritional calculator uses factors such as your weight, body type, and age to determine how many calories per day your body needs. Some calculators will even tell you how many calories you should be getting from protein, fat, and carbohydrates. The base numbers will be the amount of calories you need to maintain your weight, so if you are planning a weight loss program they will need to be adjusted.

BMI calculator. You can figure out how much weight you need to lose by using a body fat calculator function or body mass index (BMI) calculator. Body fat calculators use height and other body measurements to determine your body fat percentage. A BMI calculator uses height and weight to determine your BMI.

calorie calculators. There are several types of calorie calculators available. You can use them to find out how many calories your body burns during activities and rest, also known as basal metabolic rate (BMR) and resting metabolic rate (RMR). You can also find out how many calories you burn on an average day through your normal activities.
