Benefits of Exercise

We have heard so many advices that we should include exercise to benefit our health. To justify these advices, let us enumerate the benefits of exercise that will lead to healthy lifestyle and well being.

Exercise help us sleep better. Exercise especially when done in the morning help us sleep better. However, it is not advisable to exercise before you sleep as it will keep you awake. If in case you need to exercise, you should allow an interval of 3 hours before you sleep or you may only do brisk walking.

Exercise reduces the risk for several diseases. This may be attributed because of increase blood circulation. Among the diseases that could be avoided are heart disease, adult-onset diabetes, high blood pressure or hypertension, breast cancer, osteoporosis and colon cancer. Exercise may also help prevent, or be effective in treating, some mental illnesses, such as depression.

Exercise helps you lose weight. Increasing your physical activity allows the body to burn more calories. If you do not have time for exercise activities, doing things like running the vacuum cleaner or taking up the stairs will do.

Exercise increases your metabolism. Keeping you body active helps you have increase metabolism and helps you maintain your weight.

Having recognized the benefits of exercise, do the walking and make your health better!
